Julian Daniel is an indie-pop artist from Maple, Ontario, now based in Toronto, with influences from his time in California. His music blends meaningful lyrics with upbeat instrumentals, drawing inspiration from Charli XCX, Troye Sivan, and Gus Dapperton. Julian’s musical journey began with violin, guitar, and vocal lessons, later inspired by watching MuchMusic.
Since his 2019 debut, he’s released over 20 songs, including the viral hit “Lemontree,” which caught the attention of The Chainsmokers. His music explores coming-of-age themes, love, and secrets, focusing on creating cinematic soundscapes. Julian’s live performances showcase his confident stage presence, and he’s played venues like The Great Hall in Toronto and The Peppermint Club in L.A., building his reputation as a unique Canadian artist.
