Singer-songwriter Jeremy Francis Dollemont was born on the east coast of Canada. At a young age he started taping his favorite songs from the radio to learn them on guitar. 
At the age of 19, Francis had a memorable trip to the Isle of Skye in Scotland while backpacking through Europe. 
The experience involved a close brush with death and was the catalyst for many of the themes Francis writes and sings about. 
Francis dropped out of art school upon returning home from Europe and spent some time in India and Montreal learning/singing Sanskrit and practicing meditation.
